Conflict between console location and profile location

Discus and support Conflict between console location and profile location in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; when I first got my Xbox I was outside the U.S. and my console and profile showed me outside the US.     Conflict between console location and profile location


    when I first got my Xbox I was outside the U.S. and my console and profile showed me outside the US. Now I am back in the US but I can't use Xbox video or music. I get an error message saying my console locat is in the US but my profile still says I am outside
    the U.S. changing my location in Settings-profile-location does not fix the problem. Apparently that is just info for others to see. How do I change my profile location so the system will recognize it?

    You're not getting it.

    You bought a device that is not supported in your country. You are on your own. Microsoft is not going to support you.

    Hey there Juanes! Are your Account Location (account.live.com), Console Location (Settings, System, Console Settings, Language and Locale), and your Physical Location (where you're currently located) all set to the same region? Sometimes if there are conflicting
    regions it makes downloads fail like this.
