    CONFIRMED - Xbox One S HDR Issue (Please Help!)


    Hi All -

    A couple days ago I posted bout an issue I came across while playing a 4K UHD disc with HDR enabled. I tested multiple discs and messed with the settings on my television and nothing worked.

    Today, I tested a second 4K UHD Player (Samsung) and the issue doesn't occur with that player. I'm hoping Microsoft can update this issue with a firmware upgrade - but can anyone else escalate this information to help this get resolved?

    I've attached an image with the issue.

    Hey there Sigalakos,

    We'd recommend going through this guide for troubleshooting at 4K or HDR related issues you may be having with the TV.

    Troubleshoot 4K and HDR on Xbox One S

    It's very likely since the TV doesn't support 10 bit, that the TV will be able to take full advantage of the HDR capabilities of Xbox One S. That guide will be best to help you confirm this though.
