Confirmed date for DTS and 3D update

The developers of XBOX ONE need to respond with a date when the update for DTS and 3D directtv passthru capabilities are gonna be lunch,many users including my self are trying to set their home theaters and forget the rewiring ,and just enjoy their XB1
considered the best console in the market .So please official spokesman of XBOX franchise respond to this simple question or give us and update of the situation.

No Dolby Digital or DTS via optical output?

Ok, I guess I assumed that if it didn't do Dolby Digital via optical, i assumed the same would be for DTS. I'll have to try one of my Blu-Rays to verify DTS does indeed work. Are any of the games out now in DTS? I have battlefield 4 and Dead Rising. If
I recall on my 360 Battlefield 3 was Dolby Digital, and it would be the same for BF4. Is it possible for Dice to do a update for 3D when MS gets around to doing a 3D update?

Title is completely misrepresented... What is correct is that MS needs to STEP up and fix issues. It's been a Ridiculous long wait thus far with no resolutions even being discussed other than smoke and mirrors.

 

Hi there while i dont work for microsoft. I can say with confidence there isn't a official date for the mentioned updates. Updates are a wait and see thing and right now the console and other functionalities still are front and center. This is a support
forum the official support won't be able to answer this because theres no timetable for it at the moment. I would continue to urge patience sending out updates isnt like sending out emails it takes time.

 

Actually, an official statement of any kind IS AS EASY AS SENDING OUT AN EMAIL. Let's not make excuses here.

 

Its not a excuse, When these functions are added everybody will know but as of right now it's not a top priority at the moment so continue to be patient.

 

No disrespect, but Not a top priority?... That's a highly subjective comment. In my book I find it a top priority as im willing to bet so do others.

 

It should definitely be a "top priority"...I feel closed off from people that could be potential friends...I can't supply feedback for gamers that violate the ToS...I can't send messages to them either. It's absurd!

Dolby Digital, DTS and 3D directtv passthru these are all hardware specs that were dropped on launch day and Microsoft tell me they are not 'obliged' to respond to enquires about anything to anyone. By directing us to customer feedback Microsoft are indicating
they are not standard features just a wish list. If this is the case stop ignoring us Microsoft and as for 'Albert Penello' this is the hold up

Sad Microsoft doesn't care about the consumers who purchased this machine thinking it had ask the basic functions of a Blu-ray player. No wonder Sony is winning.
