Confirmation that there IS a FAULT on UK/European Server

@mgzin66 Thank you, finally someone who has actually read my post and not just voiced their opinion, wish there where more out there like you bud.

 

I've only player BF4 the last few days and its been very laggy and messed up half the time. Its normally ok.

 

@Dutt....most people here would disagree with wanting more like me ...

 

@Dutty (and @mgzine) - I for one am certainly not trying to dismiss your conversation with support - but some things just don't add up (and by no means am I suggesting it is your fault - but sometimes support do get it wrong).

150ms is normal in the MS network test.

If you're not playing Titanfall - then what game are you playing - I only know of TF and Forza that use MS servers - hence if you have an issue in gaming then it could very well be a problem with the game publisher's servers - irrespective of what support
say.

Anyway - like I said, I hope support are right and there is a problem to be fixed but my gut feeling is that they're incorrect in their analysis.

 

I play FIFA and BF and never had a problem, my latency at this time thru the xbox itself was 13ms, now at 155ms I have games that are laggy at times, and where I have never had this problem before, I find it very hard to game at times as reaction speed on
both are essential, I know how it was running and how it is running now and it's too far apart regardless to what MS say is an acceptable latency

My latency through Internet Explorer through the Xbox is 27ms, through the Xbox Network test it is 157ms.

 

@Dutty - FIFA and BF are EA game (right?) - so nothing to do with MS servers. EA host their own servers. Like I said before, it doesn't make sense....I'm confident support are leading you astray. The MS servers wont affect your BF game latency.

 

CONFIRMATION that the OP claims there is confirmation of a faulty server.

 

I'm struggling to understand how one faulty/decommissioned server can increase the latency for every other dedicated server that UK gamers play on.

I wouldnt thanks mgzin he saw this thread and saw he could take another gripe as microsoft. But i will say what you say about latency etc is most prob true

 

@DUTTYMONKEY - Could you do me a favor and go on your computer and make pingtest.net a visit.

Note! Make sure you use the same connection type (wireless, wired) when you perform the pingtest, using your computer, as you connect your console.

Now, before you hit 'Begin Test', change to location to the host/test server located in Lynnwood, WA (US).

Afterwards, click 'DIRECT LINK', to copy the png image of your test and paste the link in to this thread.
