Configure USB stick on xbox 360

Please help, I am trying to configure my USB stick which has more than 1Gb of data avaliable however it does not give me option 6 which is the configure now

I got al my memory on a USB stick but it asks to configure

i got a xbox 360 and had my memory on a memory unit and i move my saved games + my profile to a USB stick and some times later i plugged in the USB stick and it asks to configure it asks to configure but then it delet everything from my USB stick

Files going hidden

if i got a usb stick that wasn't xbox 360 supported will the files go hidden? because my Grand Theft Auto V and watch dogs save games went hidden. How would you configure usb stick

Can I add I have used both a Lexmark USB stick and I have just purchased a scandisk ultra extreme which came recommended from a previous forum. Both have been formatted to Fat 32 on a full format. I have also tried the USB sticking another xbox 360 with
no joy, it's a newer xbox 360 if that makes any difference.

There is no Configure Now option. You plug the drive in, format it, and your 360 makes use of the storage on the drive.

Hi, you didn't put the stick into a computer USB port and try to read what's on the stick did you ? Anyway you could try configuring the stick again on the console, if that doesn't work try formatting the stick and then configuring it on the Xbox.

If the console doesn't even see the stick so you can format it then try formatting the stick on your PC instead and then configuring it on the console.

You should be able to use a usb stick for the updates but just make sure it is configured for the xbox 360, if you insert the usb stick and go to storage (go as far right on your dashboard as you can go to system settings) then it should show the usb stick
then just click it to configure it, then you can download the update on to that.

Your usb stick must be configured to FAT32 for the 360 to recognise it.
