CONCERNED FORZA BANS ARE GETTING OUT OF HAND

So i received a ban on forza motorsport 7 just yesterday.

I have no idea why i was banned as to me it seems very difficult and time consuming to find out.

I can only assume the ban was for knocking somebody off the track after being repeatedly rammed by somebody that has no reguard for other racers.

I have always prided myself on racing clean and fair with people that show the same fair and decent gaming morals as myself.

However we are all human and when somebody shows total disregard to track limits and colliding with others then sometimes this can be infuriating and frustrating causing even the mildest mannered persons temper to boil over leading to them to seek vengeance upon the perpotrator that they feel wronged them.

My concern going forward to the future is that if i purchase the upcoming forza title as i have done since forza 2 up to forza 7 , then what happens if i get banned on that game also

(bans can eventualy lead to a 20 year ban)

If that happens then the game that i have purchased and the series x i have purchased will no longer be able to enjoy the game to its fullest as the ban includes the device it is played on.

if somebody simply dosent like you they will report you, very recently i had an engagement with a very good racer that laps fast times, i passed him cleanly without contact only for a few corners later him pushing me off track and not allowing me back on.

of course i was annoyed after showing him the courtesy of passing him cleanly so i tried to push myself back on track ending up with him spinning out.

annoyed as i was i stopped and waited for him to pass me.

this is the person i believe reported me as i know that he knows the forza moderators personaly.

turn 10 need to address this ban enforcement policy as i would guess a large proportion of the bans are wholy undeserved.

everyone of my friends that race forza 7 have recieved a ban at some point but i know them all to be respectful and courteous racers. many of us have set top 10 leader board times and even some number 1 spots myself included. this dosent mean we shouldnt be punished, but a ban? realy?

I understand that moderating a game like this is a difficult job but i dont think it should be left to public moderators to enforce the ban hammer.

do they even watch a whole replay to consider what happened to someone beforehand to cause there human trait to cause there patience limits to be reached.

This needs to be addressed its to harsh and unfair when most of the facts are not even looked at,

as for the new upcoming game myself and others i know wont be purchasing it until we are sure we wont be wasting money on something we wont be able to play for unjust and over the top bans.

Yes ive been there and managed to send them a message. I explained im not contesting my ban but relayed some concerns as in my original post here yet all i received was a generic message telling me i was banned.

Id all ready figured that one out though.

Yet i did reply and ask that my thoughts be escalated to the highest office

That's all you can do. Unfortunately, from everything I have experience of Forza in the last 15 months (how long I've been playing Forza games), neither company cares about their userbase enough to come up with a fair and consistent way of punishment...frankly, most of the time bans just seem to be handed out randomly or at the toss of a coin.

T10 and PGG both come up with excellent games (albeit with stupid unfixed bugs) but the customer support from both is a joke

Hi daft badger. Thanks for the advice but the forza forum seems to even ban people that dare to bring up the topic of being banned

Your feedback wont get to the right people by posting it on the xbox forums.

Yeah,i've seen that happen over the years but there's no where else to enquire about a Forza ban or at least tell you how to appeal it.

People like the ones you've described ruined the online aspect of the Forza Motorsport games for me so i only play with people i know or in "ghost" lobbies now.

Everything Forza issue related (bugs, bans, feedback etc) has to go through the Forza Support system as the forum, like here, has zero official presence (and when I say official presence I mean official people posting/watching etc rather than this not being an official support forum....hope I was clear on that, don't want to get in trouble again for saying this isn't an official support medium!!)

I dont see the point in appealing it.

By the time it takes to appeal the ban will be over.

Im trying to find somewhere to get enough people together so that turn10 notice us.

Considering how long a forza game is played for its only a matter of time before they manage to ban there entire fan base permanently.

Think of all the new series x consumers that will have there xbox locked out of playing one of the best titles in the platform for what could be as little as 3 isolated incidents in lets say 5 or 6 months even..

even if a player had that many reports in that amount of time i hardly think its ruining the game if that was there total amiunt if incidents.

We are humans not saints.

What happens if the controller battery dies coming up to a corner and hit someone? Will we be banned?

What happens if the dog bites us and we lose control ? Will we be banned ?

What happens if the cat knocks a drink in our lap? Will wr be banned ?

And ok so what if we do run someone off when we get sick and tired of them after having endless races of them hitting us and cutting corners. Ill still get banned for that too..

Im a bit rubbish at the social media stuff, but ill try to set up a face book page and see how that goes.
