Concern with pre order

So a couple of days ago I submitted a request to get rid of my current account security info and replace it with a phone number. And now I have to wait 30 days for it to be registered and changed. Now I’m well aware that during
this time I cannot make any kind of purchases in the Xbox digital store. But what about pre orders? I pre ordered a game prior to this 30 day wait period and it launches in a few weeks, and when it does I’ll still be in that 30 day wait period. I paid in full
for the game with Microsoft currency and I checked my billing info to make sure that the transaction was completed and successful, which it was. So will I be able to preload and play the game on launch day or will I have to wait until that 30 day waiting period
to change my security info is over? If you can please just give me a yes or no answer. THANK YOU!

If you have already paid for the preorder with your account balance then that should be fine, it'll preload for you and you will get to play it.

The lock out won't let you make any new purchases.

Thank you for letting us know about the issue. In reference to your concern, you will be able to access the pre-order
if the transaction was successful on the account. After the 30-day waiting period, you will be asked to sign in with the new credentials. If any issues arise with signing into the profile with the new credentials, try removing the old profile and add new on

Oh yeah you’re right. I didnt use a credit card so i don’t have to worry about that.

Anything pre ordered digitally will also pre load onto your home xbox a few days before its release as well. Keep in mind that any pre orders bought with a credit card are billed 10 days before release too
