Coms banned by another player (?)

So another player did not appreciate my gameplay so they sent me a messsage saying:"You shouldnt do that,how does it feel like to get coms banned?".That was yesterday.Today i realise i have a coms ban on my account,is this how it works?Any info will be appreciated

No, if you are sold the Xbox one via a store and you did nothing wrong, you will not be banned. They broke the terms, not you. Xbox is not banning people playing early.Click to expand...

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

Only an Enforcement Team member can issue any suspensions. Suspensions are only issued after a reported incident's investigation has been completed.

The investigation could take a couple hours, a couple days or longer. It varies on a number of factors.

If you feel your suspension is in error you can submit a case review at https://enforcement.xbox.com as only an enforcement team member can respond to any specific enforcement actions and they do
not use the forums.

A com ban is a communication ban. It's a type of account suspension where you're still able to use Live, but you cannot communicate in any way with any other players.

I did but he was still Spamming after that report came in and I got Com Ban should that not take affect if he was still spamming I shouldn't be Com Ban if he Responds back after the message he reported me over that means I wouldn't be Com Banned

So in that Case that counted as Abuse of Player Reputation

Regardless of if he thought it was a threat or not that would of been Blocked since he Respond back in Spamming

You aren't always notified that a players has been com banned there have been times where Ive reported players but wasn't notified that action has been taken

So I guess After what happens with the OverWatch Community getting Com Banned or Reported for being a good player Xbox Live Reputation is similar to the OverWatch Issue and over 1000+ Players that gets Com Banned for saying non offensive words or getting reported for being too good still No One Cares about what happens.

This is just like the OverWatch issue to where Innocent Players are getting Reported for stuff they didn't do wrong It's cool I get it now.
