Computer Will Not Connect to XBox One

I usually play an xbox one game on my windows 10 pc. Recently I have been unable to connect my computer to my xbox The app says it cannot find a devic and requests that I enter my cosole's IP adddress find a device. When I enter the IP address,the app responds
"We couldn't find an XBox One console with the IP address provided."

This happens even when I turn on the xbox manally. The Xbox one is active and reports the correct network. My router shows the xbox one is con.ected.

windows 10 and xbox connection problem

My windows 10 computer and xbox one are both wired to the same router. My windows 10 computer can turn on the xbox but rarely connects. Last night I changed the name of the xbox to xbox1 and was able to connect and play a game on the computer. This morning
the xbox powers on from the computer but will not connect even if I enter the xbox i.p. address.

How do you connect an Xbox One to a computer so you can play Xbox One games on your computer monitor?

Make sure to turn on your Xbox One and connect it to the same subnet as your Windows 10 PC. If it’s turned on and connected to the same network, you may need to specify the IP address of the Xbox One. You can find

the Xbox One’s IP address by going to Settings, selecting Networking, and then selecting
Advanced.

Start the Xbox app. In the navigation pane, select Connect, enter the Xbox One IP address into the
Xbox One not listed? Enter your console’s IP address box, and then select
Connect.

If this doesn’t work, your Xbox One probably is not on the same subnetwork as your Windows 10 PC. Ensure both are on the same network.

Important Make sure you don’t share the same SSID (network name) for both your 2.4 GHz network and your 5 GHz network.

Some wireless routers will default to using a single name (SSID) for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, while others will default to two separate names that help you identify the frequency band. If your router uses the same network name for both networks,
you can configure the router to assign different names to each network. By creating separate names for each, you can explicitly configure the PC and the Xbox One to use a specific network and frequency band.

Finally, try rebooting both your PC and your Xbox One console, as this can sometimes fix connectivity issues.
