    Hi j2inet,

    This is the problem with windows 8 the software is not updated you will have to go to settings and update the computer. the computer needs updating not the video card.

    This should work as it did on mine.

    Sure, an update us on how it went. You may want to update this controller on a computer too. The update from the computer will work if you are using a computer while the update of controller from Xbox is applicable for controllers played on Xbox Console.
