Computer completely shuts down while playing fortnite

The ideal in this case would be to apply your warranty, although first it would be good to try the following:

1. With the Xbox on, press the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds until it turns off completely.

2. Unplug the power cord from the console and wait 30 seconds.

3. Reconnect the power cable to your console and turn it on normally.

4. Check if the issue persists and if so, try resetting the console to its factory settings.

To reset your console to its factory settings you must do the following:

Go to Settings > System > Console Info > Reset Console > Reset and Keep Games and Apps.

This way your console will be reconfigured and you will have to add your account again. No games or apps will be deleted, nor will you lose game progress as they are saved to the Xbox Cloud.

I'm having a similar issue when I try to connect to Wi-Fi. It doesn't shut down completely but restarts every time. it forces me to us my wired connection that my computer needs since it doesn't have a wireless adapter, and I like using my computer while
playing xbox.

Try shutting the computer down completely for 30 seconds then start it back up and see if you can reinstall the app.

Try doing a cold boot on the computer by shutting it down completely for a couple of minutes then start it back up and see if that helps.

I found a fix! Blow on the top vent of you xbox one for about 2 minutes, it worked for me.
