confirm that you see the charge on your Microsoft account, then
Epic games should be the ones to add them to your account. They are the only ones who can confirm whether or not your account received them, and they are the only ones able to add currency to their game.

One troubleshooting step that could help out would be
removing your account from the Xbox and then adding it back.
