component cables for xbox one

hi, my sons hdmi hook up on the back of his TV broke, so we bought component cables that will connect from the xbox one to the tv with the components, (the green, blue, red white and yellow plug ins) Can someone tell me why and what I can do??

xbox one with component cables?

Ouch, the HD Fury is a little steep. I'm looking for a audio split to decrease the latency between Rocksmith 2014 and my TV. I was able to route the audio to a wedge using component cables on my 360 which completely fixed my latency issue. I'm thinking I need to do something similar with my Xbox one but since it only has an HDMI output I need a converter. Anything out there that is still high quality but not $160?

I'm sorry to see any issues with an accessory part! Depending on what type of component cable you purchased, it may not work. The best option you may have is to purchase an HDMI to component cable so that you can plug the HDMI side into the Xbox One and
the component side into the TV. You could purchase a converter or adapter, but that may cause issues with how many connections the Xbox One will have to go through to deliver the picture; several apps won't allow more than 2 connections, and may see the adapter
as a recording device.

Is there at least an adapter we can use ?

On the xbox 360 I was using the component cable and an adapter on them to plug in this headset.

Is the Xbox One using the same component cable as the Xbox 360 one ?

1080p does run with component, however like said before in other post make sure that your game you are playing supports you resolution size. I always run HDMI with auto in my counsel and it seems to run fine.

What i mean is One component wire works on both xbox's while the other works on neither. The one that works on neither is new so the wire is probably not faulty.
