    I am from Canada. I have purchased a $50 Xbox Live gift card from Costco, but I redeemed under the wrong MS account. My intension was to use the credit to purchase the Xbox Live 12 months currently on sale for $46.66. I spoke with and text support few
    agents, most of them said I can't get the money out and transfer to another account. An agent said he can buy the 12 mths live gold membership under the wrong account, and cancel after 24 hrs, then he would be able to generate a code from the wrong account
    and use it toward the correct account. He said he would call back but didn't.

    Today, I spent another 3 hours talking to Xbox agent, he transferred me to MS Store agent as it is billing issue. Then, after spoke to MS agent, she said it is Xbox subscription issue and transferred me back to Xbox. Nothing resolved at the end of the
    day.

    I was told by an agent to buy the Xbox live gold membership "as a gift" through the wrong account with the $50 credit, however, it comes out to be regular price of $70. Only when you click "join" and buy toward your own account is $46.66. I asked the agent
    if I can buy "as a gift" at regular price of $69.99 so I can redeem the code under the correct account, and the agent would do a price adjustment / price match to $46.66. I would have wait 24 hours for their reply.

    I don't understand why it is impossible for MS to transfer credit between accounts? Why the promo price is different between add to your own account, and buy as a gift??

    Also, given this Xbox live gold promotion of $46.66 works on both of my accounts, why can't they do a price adjustment? At the end of the day, MS still get the same price.

    the xbox one is an amazing console however it is like a bloody beta of a console how everyone of my friends has been disconnected from xbox live at least 20 times a day last week alone I'm not the only one xbox need to sort this issue out as it is awful
    the xbox should of been kept like the 360 only to improve the graphics the layout of the new dashboard is awful the snap thing is annoying as i don't get why Microsoft are just sitting on there fat *** all day when they should fix these problems also the games
    with gold game are awful.

    Does anyone have any idea how to file an official complaint with xbox. The xbox call centre are absolutely useless and couldnt tell me how to escalate a complaint even though they couldn't help me. They didnt even know who was in charge of the UK. His excuse
    was im sorry im based in Estonia!!!!!

    Utterly useless and now im furious.

    They have been taking money from my account whilst error messages have been received and apparently they cant refund them as they refunded some earlier in the week. and it was a "once in a life time" refund. I am so angry. Ive discovered the CEO of the UK,
    but unusually i cant find contact details yet, ive tweeted him already.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    I don’t understand either. FYI, you cannot use money in your account to buy gold so even if they did transfer the money you couldn’t buy it. You need to use a credit card, PayPal or a store bought gold card.
