No company would buy Microsoft as a single entity, it is too vast.

The selling of certain segments, such as the Xbox Division, is unlikely but far more in the realms of possibility.

Would I feel cheated if Microsoft were to sell of the Xbox Division to someone else, well yes I'd be a little annoyed since I've just bought one but in the end you pay your money and you take your chances.

Hell it is unlikely but Microsoft could just shut down the Xbox Division tomorrow.

Yea, I suppose so. I couldn't see it happening though as it would be an atrocious business decision. You'd jump into a market and immediately alienate millions of your customers. Not smart.
