Completely shut down console by selection

Yes it does power it down completely if you select full shut down

Thanks for the updates on your issue. It could be that you are completely shutting it down power to the console included. Try leaving the socket on and see if the settings reset. If console has no power for a while it could reset the settings to default.
If yo want the console to shut down completely, you can select Energy saving mode. Go to
settings>power and start up>power mode and start up>select Energy saving in the top box of the middle column.

You can also try this.

For Xbox One:

- Go to the Home screen.

- Press the Menu button on the controller.

- Select Settings.

- Go to Sleep Mode & Start-Up

- Select Shut Down.

For Series X|S:

- Open Settings on Xbox.

- Select the General tab.

- Click on Power Options.

- Under the “Options” section, click the “Shutdown now” option.

- Click the “Shut down” button.

For BOTH methods, it is more affective by unplugging the power cord for 1 minute after sutting the console down.

Once done, power up the console and see if the issue continues.

did you select Restart on the Xbox or did you hold the Power Button for 10 seconds until it completely shut down?

if you only selected Restart I would recommend holding the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplugging the power from the wall socket for 5 minutes.

You have tried completing restarting your console correct? You can do some by holding down the xbox button on your controller and selecting "restart" or you can hold down the xbox button on your console until it shuts off. If this does not work try unplugging your console and plugging it back in.
