Completely lost gamertag and outlook account

Stupid security recover method has ended up in loss of a family gamer tag and loss of the outlook associated account. Since the email account associated was only created because you are forced to create an outlook account, when you don't use that account
for email, there is no method of recovery even if you have an alternate email account as the recovery address. I guess if you don't email from the outlook account, there is no proof that you won the account.

The idiots at MS refuse to unlock the account and the only solution is to create a new gamertag and again a freaking outlook account. Already went through support and they were absolutely worthless.

Just frustrating as heck.

How to transfer gamertag to new email

I have a hotmail email and now have an outlook email and want to switch my gamertag to the outlook account. However, when I try to do that it says that my outlook account already has a gamertag. I thought that was weird because I had never added anything.
Come to find out my outlook account does have some randomly assigned gamertag attached to it that I never made. Because of this I can't have my gamertag attached to outlook. What do I do?

When i log with the username of mine childern. i can change anything, it redirects me to a page "manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-child-to-family-account-online"

I am lost, i dont know where to do this. because i added mine childeren to the outlook family account.

 

Did you try opening the account from here. https://account.microsoft.com If your xbox live is tied to outlook.com Then you should be able to access it from here. Sorry if I misunderstood your

whomever you spoke to is not able to recover your account for you. you are not forced to create an outlook account to create an xbox live profile. I personally use Hotmail but I know plenty of people that use yahoo/gmail. unfortunately if you are unable
to recover your account through the ACSR form on account.live.com there is only one other option to recover the account. you must have a console which you have used the profile online with for at least a week. if you have that you can call customer support
and request that they create a lost account escalation. they will need to get the ACSR reference number(should be located at the bottom of the email from account.live.com telling you they were unable to recover your account.) and the console ID from the console
that you have used the profile online with as well as when you originally downloaded that profile to that console(doesn't have to be exact just estimate a month/year)
