Completely frozen out of my Xbox.

Turn it on, can't select any menu options at all, not even settings to disconnect me from the internet. Press a and nothing happens. It will let me (try to) sign in however, where I jsut see that evil buffering circle of death until it just makes me slect
an account again like nothing happened.

Minecraft single/multiplayer worlds

I opened up Minecraft to go on one of my worlds and it completely froze. I restarted my Xbox and opened it up to go to one of my friends world and it froze as well.

 

Console completely frozen?

Sorry to hear it. Please try holding the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Hopefully that will solve the issue.

 

Yeah, found a similar post to this after I made it with the same answer. It works, but it might be worth mentioning that if your Xbox is set to quick-start you will have to unplug everything as well.

 

Sometimes unplugging is not needed.

 

Something else is going on because for me, this has happened twice a day to me every single day since tuesday. I should not have to hard reset the xbox that often just to get it to actually work. You can't click a single thing on the dash board. Its as if
it doesnt register that anythings been clicked.

 

Bullet, i'm already sitting at 36 hard reboots this month alone. This is ridiculous beyond all measure. I should not have to Hard Reboot that many times. This November update is the culprit in my opinion. I feel like it was prematurely released and not thoroughly
tested.

 

Same here I have to hard reset ever time I start my Xbox..

 

I can't seem to get past the green loading screen. have tried 5 hard resets; i also left the green screen on overnight hoping it would break through, am I SOL?
