complete joke

Agreed, in fact my hardcore run wound up being my best run thru the game ever and like you was getting through the tail end of it rather quickly.

It is easier BUT Dead Space 2 also gave me tons of ammo, stasis & health. I don't recall ever worrying about any of that stuff. After the first boss battle (the tripod necro) I was good.

I must be totally unskilled because I get killed all the time just playing in normal difficulty. Sometimes it's combat, sometimes I fail to dodge an object while hurtling through space. Sometimes I don't even see what it was that killed me. Anyway, what
I don't understand about hardcore is how you can complete the game with just 3 saves. A gamer like me would have to play for 6 or 8 hours straight between saves. Is that what you do or is there some other trick to it? Can you just leave the game on pause
overnight or would it shut down anyway?

Sometimes a hard reset won't fix the issues, and if that happens, the best place to check is the service alert page. Updates and fixes for problems as (and when) they occur, are posted there.

Its different in dead space 3 you can save all you want but if you die you have to start all over again for dead space 2 i dedicated a weekend
