    This is just a warning to anyone who has to send a console back to Microsoft, after doing the whole bull crap of talking to a 'special' chat operator who doesn't actually listen or help until you get quite annoyed and make them skip to the point, I also
    asked 'Will the repair service affect the contents of the hard drive?' I was assured 'no', this would not happen. Me being skeptical and also slightly sensible I decided to back up my hard drive anyway. Console was returned to me and unfortunately not to my
    surprise.... everything was wiped from the hard drive!! So a warning to anyone who is assured that the memory won't be affected, don't believe them and back it up before you send away!

    All your game saves are saved to the cloud anyway,you just have to reinstall your games..

    Have to say though,after talking to phone support yesterday to book in yet another xbox one with a faulty disc drive I couldn't believe to amount of rubbish I was being told,very shoddy support.

    Just a lesson in life really, if he had taken the console back to game the first time round he might have had a new console with no issues and didn't warrant a second repair then. If anything electrical break under warranty I take straight back to the shop
    and have it replaced, simple as that.

    Just need to get the console now. Waiting for an email from Game Customer Service. Not such an easy option for me after all as it has already been repaired by MS.

    I just don't understand why MS can't replace the console as well as Game. At least I have my trusty 360 while I wait.

    Thanks for the tips about the Games, making my mouth water :)

    I've also heard that Borderlands Pre-sequel should be good

    The legendary RROD on release day - that's harsh, at least my xbox one lasted 2 months before dying. I feel your pain.
