Complaint with Enforcement

Last night I uploaded a video of a friend and I's fail in "mining" on the game 7 days to Die.
Nothing in the video was against Xbox lives terms of service. Within 20 minutes of uploading, I received the email below. Being a member of the Preview program and an Ambassador, I understand the "do's and don'ts" of Xbox live and do not toe
the line. From what I can see, the problem IS somewhat being taken care of as I am able to access my account and able to post and access my live account on my Xbox BUT, I want this activity removed from my enforcement account and assurances made that my Preview/Ambassador
statuses and digital content are not in jeopardy. I did not work this hard in cleaning up my account after my teenager "trashed" it in 2010 to lose it all now.

I did create a post directly in this forum under the "type" Support and it has mysteriously disappeared. This was after I contacted Xbox support chat who directed me here.

Enforcement complaint

I have been suspended from xbox as I have been deemed as cheating.

I have asked for the case to be reviewed as I have no idea what I am supposed to have done. I have had no feedback or details, the status is just decision upheld. How can they do this without sharing information? If I knew what I had supposedly done I wouldn't
do it again. I would like to complain about how poor their system is but I cannot find an avenue for complaint. I feel like I have paid my money for xbox live and I am now being held to ransom.

@P3nquin4tion, while this information would be normally be helpful, it is not. I have no options to open a case review as this a unwarranted device ban. Hence my issue. I am stuck in a catch 22, I believe made by human or robot error.

Well, that changes things a bit, but hardly a catch 22, While I can not say for sure, its more than likely that the video was not the cause of the device ban. As taken from the enforcement website: "Device bans are not issued lightly, and occur when a particular
Xbox console or Xbox on Windows device is used to violate the Code of Conduct in an egregious or repeated manner. Given the severity of this action we take each device ban extremely seriously, and only take action after a lengthy investigation." This kind
of enforcement action is always taken by the humans of the Policy and Enforcement Team and for as long as I've been playing on xbox live, I have never heard of a device ban issued in error, much less reversed. At the point you are at, I honestly don't know
what to tell you.

P3nguin4tion, my misunderstanding perhaps of "device bans" as my main account (which is tied to my laptop) was not allowed to sign on to ANY Microsoft online service including the Enforcement page. I still cannot log onto that page via Microsoft Edge, like
I do here. I can use Google Chrome, but there are no options for opening a case review which lead me to believe my case was some sort of a "device ban".

Anyways, I still cannot find any way to contact Enforcement, as the only way to do it is to open a case review. And I cannot do that. I finally found my Account/Support post I made 24+ hours that "magically" disappeared right after I posted it. It seems
it was answered and locked by a fellow Ambassador who told me to "open a case review". All this is starting to lead me to believe that certain groups "Enforcement United" and "Ambassadors" are maybe just going thru the motions just to get their points for
the prize tiers.

All I want, is to be able to contact an Enforcement team member, have my video reviewed and corrections made.

I really am sorry, I wish I could help you further but the only official way to contact the enforcement team is through the case review process. They no longer monitor the forums so posting here will not do you any good and just an fyi, all enforcement united
does is review gamertags and they have no true enforcement power. That lies solely with the XBLPET.

How can you "ammbassadors" continue you to say the enforcement team no longer monitors the forums? I was directed here by actual Microsoft employees and each time was 100% assured that the enforcement team does still continue to monitor the forums.

 

The enforcement team stopped using the forums a little over a year ago. At the time, there were forums specifically for them, but they stopped using those when they created the enforcement website. There was a sticky on those forums that mentioned that,
but since the new forums started you can no longer view that and that is also why there are no enforcement forums listed. Phone and chat support do not have correct information when it comes to the forums and are known to send people here with incorrect information.

 

If this is true how is person meant to get a mistake fixed by the enforcement team after submitting a case review, let alone contact them? A have a valid case with proof they screwed up..

 

Submitting a case review is the only way to contact them. They don't have any other form of communication.

 

A device ban is the most extreme type of ban that can be issued & a last resort which means it is thoroughly investigated before being carried out so that mistakes are not made.

Just curious but can you still use your console while not connected to live?

 

Sorry, I have been in the process of moving and haven't had the chance to reply. From what I can tell the video that caused my "enforcement" had a very short "account ban" of which I was able to use my account again. Because of this time frame I was unable
to open a case review as only "active" enforcements are able to have reviews done. This is the problem I have, there is nothing in my video I uploaded that is against the TOS. How do you fight against an error? I am now stuck with this "stigmata" with an enforcement
against me with no way to defend myself....That is what this post is really about.

 

If the suspension is already over, there's nothing you can do.
