    Complaint on my suspension


    Hi,

    I have been ban for a week on xbox live causd i reacted to be racially abused while playing the game, this is unfair treatment and has happened to me twice now and id like the suspension lifted as i only defended myself

    Ban for playing online

    The two suspensions are not likely related. All complaints are investigated before being acted on. It is likely that you received the comm ban from one complaint, then received the account suspension for a completely different complaint. It takes time for
    the enforcement team to be certain that a complaint is correct.

    A complaint on account suspensions

    Another thing to consider is that these people may have been suspended at the same time as you & started sending messages again once their suspension was over.

    Some people don't learn which means they'll end up getting suspended again for longer & eventually banned if they carry on.

    Like I said,report & block,don't respond & they will be investigated.

    I'm afraid nobody in the forums (or at Xbox Support) can do anything regarding suspensions. You will have to go to enforcement.xbox.com and see what options are available.

    Side note: Even when defending, breaking the Code of Conduct and or Terms of use can result in an enforcement action.

    Doesn't matter who starts it or what they say,if you respond in a way that violates the ToU/CoC then you risk enforcement action.

    It's best to just report & block anyone harassing you online.

    As the enforcement team don't use the forums you need to go to the enforcement site
    here for info on your suspension & to file for a case review if eligible.

    It only takes one valid complaint to result in a suspension/ban. The enforcement team does investigate complaints before issuing suspensions, so they are not always instant.

    Well then explain how my son was on suspension with no means for communication when another complaint was filed that he said something inappropriate during his suspension.
