    Good day, today i recently got banned from Live services after sending one bad word to a guy that bullied and harassed me and my dead father. Since this hurts me a lot i sent a message back and he used the opportunity to ban me, then proceeded to taunting
    me on Facebook right after how he got away with it. How do u guys in Microsoft make this fair in your book? If you don't fix this I'm looking into some legal steps to sue you for letting harassment happen.

    On your console file a complaint on the player for voice communications and block communication with them. Also, let your friends know to do the same. The problem will be investigated and dealt with accordingly. Also, posting other gamers' gamertags isn't

    It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be held responsible. In situations like that, it's best to file a complaint on the other person and block communications with them instead of responding.
    Most of the time people are doing that just to get you to react.

    you will not be banned for complaints if the complaints are not warranted. the policy enforcement team verifies validity of complaints first. Complaints will not be overlooked.

    For players who are harassing you, I would advise to first block them and follow up by reporting them. Best not to engage in bad behavior with them, two wrongs don't make a right.

    Filing false complaints will not get you banned. All complaints are investigated, and only acted on if the complaint is valid. If you were banned, you can have that decision reviewed by going to the enforcement site, but if found to be a valid ban, you will
    not get your account back and everything on that account is lost.
