    On the 24th of January i asked the people at xbox help for help moving my xbox live account from my old email to my new one. They directed my to account.live and told me to add the new email as an allies and make it primary. Then to delete my old one.
    I asked if i would still have full access to my old and new email; they replied with yes. When i tried to sign into my old email it no longer existed and couldnt access my steam account. I then went back to xbox help as asked what was happening and they then
    informed me the email was deleted and will have to wait 60 days to make a new e-mail with the same address. now i cannot use that email to talk to collages and apprenticeship firms about possibilities, creating a massive inconvenience and have found the whole
    process distressing. Can i claim compensation on this situation?

    Your situation certainly sounds frustrating. Surely there are other means of speaking with the specific parties while you wait for your email issue to get resolved. Just alert them that you've had to update your email address due to unrelated inconveniences.

    In regards to compensation, what exactly is it you're hoping to get? I don't think you can hold them, or the rep you spoke to, accountable for the deletion of your email address.

  3. In the old old days I remember these things called letters. And then came the new fangled telephone thingies.

    It seems that modern folk can`t manage without all the tech and then want compensation the moment something doesn`t work correctly.

    It`s so easy to set up a new e-mail on msn and use that to contact whoever you need to. Always wise to have a secondary account.

    Unfortunately support gave you incorrect information. Since that is not a Rewards program issue, rewards support will not be able to assist. Compensation is not given via the forums. You would have to continue working directly with support.

    I will have to ask about this as I honestly don't know. I am on the team that produces these games and therefore I don't have any ability to do that. As for the problem, are you referring to the issue of not being able to log in to Xbox or another issue?

    I think you might be in the wrong forum. :) The games here are not for the console but for Windows 8/8.1/Windows Phone 8. You might want to try going back up to the other forums where they can help you with your console issues. :)
