  its ability to support teams of varying sizes. And you can trust that Certain Affinity will tune and tweak the map to make it even better than you remember.

And the game is running much better now, BTB matchmaking is still broken tho, and matchmaking is pretty stupid still, but the game isnt a complete lag fest ingame now, thats the main thing

 

DrGreenThumb NZ, Thanks for sharing that information. I think that is more, than fair to compensate us for our troubles. I would of liked to preview the Halo 5 beta this weekend and had an extension from the initial launch beta on December 29, 2014, but
that didn't happen.

The multiplayer works bro, you just don't want to either: uninstall and reinstall the game, or clear your local saved games. I have played it since then and like you tried to upset me on my posts, and continued to act troll like it is getting tiresome. By
the way, check out my videos on upload and, if you followed my steps in my post, then your multi player matchmaking will improve.

You were tired of me posting forums helpful tips, then here's an idea you legitimately try them and get back to me. Stop complaining dude and just give it some thought in your comments first. Halo Master Chief Collection is working better and as I stated
before, prior to the first couple of updates when the game came out, to get the most recent update and patches, then you need to either: uninstall and reinstall the game only once, or clear your local saved games often.

Thanks for the post, but your negativity is becoming disconcerting and mute.

^ Do you live in Australia or New Zealand EpH3s1aNs? I can tell you as an Australian who has continued to try this game before and after local dedicated servers that it is still more trouble then it's worth. I don't think anyone has a personal vendetta against
you, I know you've been helpful.

edit: I'll fix this myself, we actually DON'T have dedi servers for Halo here in Aus/NZ

 

RedEye Exp3ss, I actually live in the U.S.A. I know no one has a personal vendetta on me, but some skeptics should understand through personal experience, I know what I'm talking about. I realize on the internet, you are going to have skeptics, but I literally
tried everything, to get the game to work and for the first three weeks trouble shooted the problem. I have had similar issues on the Xbox 360 and over the years, have become an expert in getting Xboxes and Microsoft products to work right. I had unauthorized
access in my previous 8 gamer tags, which is why this one is blank for security reasons. I have been playing Halo since the original Xbox and system link LAN parties.

I know first hand through my experiences on Xbox Live, that some people can and will make your Xbox Live experience miserable. I was given a secured account, reimbursed for my losses, and asked to come back to Xbox Live. I am just trying, to help you all
out and pay it forward. I realize the game is most definitely buggy, but know for a fact my forums post works. Several people from different regions have tried it and some have private messaged me. Just think complaining isn't solving anything and as the Xbox
Live community, it's up to us to offer our feedback and support.

 

So does that mean that because I bought my broken game after launch day that I don't get any compensation?

 

Nah we do have dedicated servers here in Australia now Red Eye. 343i confirmed the game is on dedicated servers in the last patch notes.

 

In case you missed what they said.

"Note: We’ve seen many inquiries about dedicated server support for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Dedicated servers have been up and running since launch, and we continue to optimize and improve connectivity. The vast majority of games are being played
on dedicated servers, but in the event that players cannot connect to a dedicated server, the lobby will stay together and the match will still occur on a peer-to-peer connection. Please be aware that you may connect to the dedicated server quickly enough
that you won’t see the ‘connecting to dedicated server’ dialog. The absence of that dialog doesn’t mean that you’re not playing on a dedicated server."

 

Redeye, Its not just Australia/NZ which has these issues.

I'm an american in Hong Kong and I can vouch for the fact that finding matches is still near impossible. I have "cleared my saves" and "deleted and re-installed". While it is definitely better than before in terms of lag once I do find a match, I am still
consistently getting infinitely trapped in "found players" and "joining session" loops, assuming I can find anything at all.

I think the "fixes" have been mainly focused on their largest base over in the US, with the rest of us taking a back seat. It kind of stinks as I had such high hopes after Titanfall's dedicated servers.(which were top tier) If MCC is actually using dedi's
like they said in the update notes for east asia/au/nz, then it is quite possibly the worst implementation of dedicated servers in the history of gaming.(for a major project with AAA level funding)

All that said, while I have pretty much given up hope that this game will ever be fixed on the multiplayer side for us international players, the fact were getting odst free(i bought the game for the campaigns) is a huge perk. Thankfully, the halo 5 beta
ran smoothly as well, meaning I have high hopes for that title.

 

They are going to need a lot of hype to get the dedicated servers fully functional in every country they have expanded into recently. If you look at the list of Xbox One Xbox Live supported countries there are a LOT of countries where Xbox is reasonablely
weak. Im not sure this game had the weight needed. They definitely are banking on Halo 5 Guardians though. For a long time Halo player like me though Im grateful I manage to get games of Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3 on my Xbox One. The new Halo is great an all
but my best memories of the game were from the early days of Halo.

 

I have been really frustrated with this game. Every time I log on I have to do another update that just seems to *** me off even more.

I'm really stoked about the ODST campaign and Firefights. Maybe now we can get matchmaking for the Firefights and have some epic games. I have really fond memories of going for the Endure achievement on multiple maps.

 

ANyone having issues today with achievements unlocking?
