Compensation for Xbox Live

Three days ago Xbox Live was down for several hours causing grief to players. Now at this time it’s down again, two hours so far. Everything is good on my end. I even try to chat with an agent but there’s Microsoft sided errors. Can I get some compensation
for all of this grief? I’m losing out on Gold service that I’ve paid for...

Disgusting how Xbox live has been down for more than 48 hours and we get no compensations. We have been paying for your xbox live and when its down we expect to be compensated for this

Hi there you likely will not be compensated as the outage to xbox live was due to a DDOS attack very diffucult to plan for as you dont know what it will affect. If you seek compensation take advantage sunset overdrive 50% off or you'll get a day off xbox
live that maybe it.

The issue looks like it's more or less resolved for me. Might be something still not working I haven't noticed but appears OK to me. Since you're also in the north east hope it gets resolved soon for you as well.
