Compensation for the troubles of the "noisy" Xbox one problems

Hi,

I was wondering if we who got the faulty Xbox one will get some kind of compensation for our troubles? I don´t consider that you replaced my faulty console as compensation, rather your obligation. But I am the one who had to drive to the store 2 times just
to go home with 2 faulty consoles.

Is this something you are working on?

Hi there you likely would not likely get compensation for your issues, I also dont see what the compensation question is all about?

 

You don´t see a problem with buying an Xbox One consolse, replacing it 2 times got get a working one? When it should be working from day one...

Yes , that I did. But as you might not understand.. that should not be needed. When i buy a brand new console I do not expect to send it in for repair the first thing i do.

 

Its new tech regardless how long its been out and thats the risk we take in buying new consoles. Nothing usually works right the first time, still should have sent it in regardless there's where the compensation would have kicked in, not because you bought
one didnt work returned it to the same result. I dont see your logic? Why would it not be needed? It's there for these type of issues not just to debate about.

 

A year old new tech? But sending it in for repair is not compensation... dont you get it? They are obligated to fix their problem. When i buy something new it should work, that just how things work... this is not a beta test... it´s the final product.

 

They usually send you a month of LIVE as compensation. Was that not included?

 

It was in my case, but the console they sent made the same noise. So why would I care about 1 month of XBL Gold? Also, I traded my own console, which I've always treated carefully, for a refurbished console. I got no compensation for the consoles I had to
exchange with my retailer before. I even had to pay for the packagig material myself, let alone the time wasted.

FYI: They've locked the other thread now. And they will soon lock this one, too. That's how Microsoft treats its customers.
