Compensation for COD: Modern Warfare removal

Upon the release of the new COD title Vanguard a newly released patch seemingly and effectively crippled the game. Noticed early December that the Modern Warfare title was removed from my library, I had to go through forums and notable sites to find out that the title was discontinued. There was no mention on Activision's site or acknowledgement of the decision. This game came out in 2019, so not too long ago, we paid full price and all of a sudden it's removed without any notice or more importantly, compensation... I reached out to customer support, to which they just ignored my question and suggested that I buy the new Vanguard title. This is unacceptable. Is it possible to get more of direct response from Microsoft, I honestly feel like I should get an account credit/refund. Also the title is still in the store available for purchase, this needs to be addressed to the public. I understand that titles can run into difficulties and titles eventually become obsolete, but this is just unprecedented. You buy one of Activision's titles, they patched it until it was a broken mess and dysfunctional in comparison to what new title they're trying to promote and then remove without any public notification and then tell you to buy the new title instead...

I'm sorry you're having problems with re-downloading your Call of Duty Modern Warfare game. Modern Warfare 2019 has not been discontinued, it's still available on the store to buy and the game is still playable online.

Are you sure you didn't purchase this game with a different account? The Xbox console and the Live service do not remove games from your library. Even games that are no longer available to buy are not removed from your console or library.

I can only assume at the time of writing that your game was bought with a different account and during an update of the game, the update was cancelled and the game as uninstalled. It will only show on the account that purchased it. Do you have other accounts. You should first check your account purchase history from here.

Same, its (Mod Removed). I have a 500 console and its doing this just because of modern warfare. If this is going to break my xbox x then xbox needs to compensate for a faulty machine.
