Compensation for bad timing of buying Xbox One Kinect Bundle?

I recently bought an Xbox One w/Kinect bundle (in the first half of September) for the MSRP of $499.99 from Best Buy. However, within the last 2 weeks the price of this bundle has dropped by $100, AND includes multiple free games (like the Kinect games Kinect
Rivals and Zoo Tycoon). I really wanted to get the Kinect version of Xbox because Microsoft had always said that the Kinect was a core part of the Xbox One experience, yet it seems as though few games are really optimized for Kinect. And I can't even find
the one main Kinect adventure game (Kinect Rivals) in stores anymore.

As a loyal Xbox customer for the past 14 years (and Xbox Live member for 12 years), spending thousands of dollars on Xbox products (including multiple Xbox 360s due to the RROD), I was hoping that I could at least be compensated by getting a download code
for an Xbox One game or two, like Kinect Rivals for example. That's a very reasonable request I believe. I chatted with Anna on Xbox support and she told me to make a post here, and then they could coordinate with their promotions team in order to remedy the
situation.

Anyone who has issues with kinect being always on is clearly an a ugly neckbeard.

but in all seriousness, yeah it was terrible timing. But that's not the main reason im not buying an xbox one

 

Bad Timing

I just bought the Xbox One with Titanfall included 2 days ago for $500 plus tax, and have been a loyal xbox fan since the early days of the 360, then they go and lower the price to $400. I would like some kind of reimbursement or a $100 refund please.

 

There is no compensation because you didnt buy it from ms store or xbox

Your issue would be with bestbuy

I use kinect every day bot just for the kinect enabled games

Certain thingz like dashboard to netflix

All use kinect very well including alot of 3rd party apps compared tl the remote

Expand your horizons you can always return the unit and exchangs it for another unit since you are withjn fhe 30 day policy

 

Any compensation would actually come from phome or chat support

You can get games with gold games

You can reten the unit and ger thenpackage you want

Youndo relieze that non kinect consoles are available

Itsnkot like the ps4 whwre its just an accessory

You can use it to navigate and control anything on yoyr xbox including kinect enabled games
