compatible original xbox games

    I did some tests recently on my xbox 360 with some original xbox games.

    Here are some original xbox games that I found will work with the xbox 360.

    3 out of my 4 original xbox games are working I am going to name just a few of them.

    half life 2

    namco museum

    house of the dead 3

    But the big problem is microsoft does not sell original xbox game systems anymore.

    Personally in my opinion this is something that needs to be brought to microsoft's attention.

    Microsoft has the technology hardware and resources from the original xbox why dont they just install

    that hardware from the original xbox to avoid these problems in the near future.

    Microsoft is pulling off that same crap again with the xbox 1

    where they make only a select number of games compatible instead of just all of the original xbox games.

    Microsoft could compensate us by giving us a free original xbox game system

    maybe some free xbox gift cards maybe a year of xbox live gold membership

    maybe a free game or 2 for us having to go through so much trouble maybe give us discounts on their products.

    But that would be nice if they did though I would be content with that even if it is some free gift cards to buy some xbox 360

    games through xbox live.

    Well that is just my opinion.

    If this is an original xbox game then no,it's not backwards compatible.

    There's a chunk of original xbox games that were not made backwards compatible for several reasons. Unfortunately, Microsoft stopped updating backwards compatibility of original Xbox games a long time ago. You'll need an actual original Xbox to play your
    game.

    Mercenaries is a Xbox Original game, I'm not sure if it can be played on the Xbox 360, some xbox original games are no longer compatible with Xbox 360 backward compatibility.

    That game is not on the list of backward compatible games and will not be added. Microsoft stopped updating the original Xbox backwards compatibility on the 360 several years ago. The only way to play that game is on an original Xbox console.
