Compatible 360 Disc not recongnizing/loading in Xbox One

Try this:

• Try loading the disc on Xbox 360 if available to test Disc
• How to troubleshoot problems playing a disc on your Xbox One
• Playing backward-compatible games on your Xbox One

Try this out and let us know the results.

So digital copies you own on your 360 will pop up in the que on your XBOX ONE! 360 hard discs you own that are backward compatible, you can pop them right in the one and they will down load to your ONE! Keep in mind games on your 360 that are backward
compatible and bc hard discs, you want to make sure the save data is on the cloud for those games. If not copy save data to the cloud, so you can continue those games on your one!

If you own the game on disc, insert the Xbox 360 game disc into Xbox One while it is connected to Xbox Live and the Internet. The compatible files will download and install to your console. Afterwards, you'll need the game disc in your console so it will
know you own it and can launch it.

If you own the game digitally, it should appear in "Ready to Install" in My Games & Apps. Just select the game you want and install it that way. For this to work, you must be signed in with the Microsoft account that owns the game on Xbox 360.

I've been having trouble with xbox 360 discs. Xbox One discs work. I can immediately eject the Xbox One disc and put in an xbox 360 disc. It won't load and never gives an error message. I wasn't sure if there was something wrong with the backwards compatibility servers because sometimes my xbox 360 digital games take awhile to load or every once in awhile I get a message saying Something Went Wrong. Xbox One digital games don't seem to have this issue. My discs are clean (I just played some of the xbox 360 discs during the last 10,000 gamerscore challenge lol) I've reset and unplugged my console. Cleared persistent storage, I haven't checked NAT type. I guess it is open because I can use xbox live.

not sure why, i see they sell the game as xbox one and xbox 360 compatible with xbox one x enhancements too. is your 360 reading other dvd discs as this disc would be a dvd if compatible with the 360 too. the game itself is less than 9GB in size so technically the disc would have to have 2 versions on it to be compatible with both platforms, this would then not work as it would have to be a blueray disc as dual layer dvd could only hold about 8.6GB unless they compress it down.
