Compatibility XBOX 360 Chili --> France

Hello,

I bought a XBOX 360 in Chili in 2014and plan to settle in France. I would like to know if this XBOX will work normally in France., or if I will meet difficulties due to change of geografical zone.

Xbox 360 console still in France region !

Hi,

Last year, I moved to France for a few months.
So I changed the region of my Xbox Live account
from Belgium to France without worry.

During my time in France, I bought an Xbox
one that was not yet out in Belgium.
On my return to Belgium, I switched
my Xbox One console in Belgium area without a care.

But I just discovered restarting my xbox
360 this week that it is always located
in France with my French billing address
...So I can not recover my
purchases made previously in Belgium
and I can also no longer enjoy the free
Xbox Live Gold games ,
when buying I have an error message telling me that I'm not
in the right area.

Can you help me as I wish I could get back my
Xbox games 360 at the launch of the
Xbox 360 backwards compatibility on the Xbox
One in October?

Eating chili while playing Halo 4 online.Ate half a bowl of chili and still got 22 kills.At one point dropped my controller in hot chili but kept gaming till the end with chili everywhere.

 

It should still work fine because its still in the PAL region. Good way to check is buy a game in your area like a sports game that costs nothing (>$1) and see if it works.

Usually people worry more when they switch continents cause that's when it gets all crazy.

I would also look into the different power usage between the two countries and get a proper power brick for the region before moving as well.
