Compatibility Turtle Beach Ear Force X31 with Xbox One

Hey everyone,

I have a question concerning the compatibility of the Turtle beach ear force x31 with the xbox one. I have read that for most older headsets the adapter is needed and I have seen all kinds of lists about the different headsets which are compatible. However,
for me it is still unclear if the turtle beach ear force x31 is compatible with the xbox using the adapter? It is not really mentioneD in the list but other headsets of the same series like the x41 or x32 are compatible. So can anyone help me?

Wireless headset compatibility?

I just purchased the Turtle Beach Ear Force x31 Xbox 360 wireless headset and I want to know if they will work with the Xbox One when I get the new console.

Turtle beaches....ear force x31's. It has a USB that plugs into the console, with a receiver that needs to pair w the headset once plugged in. The headset plugs into the controller.

 

I have just look on TB site they have a compatible list for all consoles. cant find x31 for Xbox one.

 

Yeah, but I thought that the method of plugging in is the same as the X32 and that one is compatible? Therefore my confusion :S

 

If you already have the headset adapter and the x31 you could try them, I cant find any thing to say they are compatible.

 

Yeah, I think I need the adapter for most headsets so I will buy it anyway. I hope it will work or else a new headset Anyone I good idea which one is any good?

I apologize for the thread necro, but seeing the question is still unanswered, and for others like myself looking for an answer to the same question, the X32 is different from the X31. The X31 does not use WiFi to connect which is possibly how the X32 can
work with the Xbox One. There is a workaround for X31 users that have televisions with Audio Output/Headphone outlets though:
