    Compatibility play and Destiny


    I play Destiny with my brothers and some friends on the 360, and we have a blast. I am looking to get an XBOne, however I do know that if I play destiny on my XBOne, I can't play with those on the 360. Will I be able to run Destiny in "compatibility mode"
    on my XBOne so I can continue to play with my friends on the 360 version?

    Destiny is not yet included in the backwards compatibility list.

    Destiny isn't yet on the backward compatibility list and if I'm honest I can't ever see it being on there.

    However if it were on the list, then yes you'd be able to play with your friends on their 360. The backwards compatible games are running in a virtual 360.

    They are not going to make games BC that already have both a Xbox 360 and Xbox One version. That would make absolutely no sense.

    Does the TV matter?

    Destiny 2 will always be compatible with the Xbox One. If your TV isn't 4K or has the latest tech. Your console will still run on it, and you should still be able to play Destiny 2 on it.

    Sorry to hear it. However, the 360 version of Destiny is not backwards compatible on the Xbox One. If you would like to play the game on the One you'll need to purchase it. I would recommend getting Destiny: The Collection as it currently on sale for
    35% off.
