Companion app mini map?

The ea mobile companion app for titanfall no longer launches the hud map... whats up.. is anybody working on this.. I have had 2 ea chats. Wrote respawn. Tweeted xbox and no response.. support.. we dont need no stinkin support.. lol help... oh xbox tweet
said they woukd escalate my issue.. still no word after a week..

yeah my BF4 companion app like i said stays on the "Loading Battle-screen" screen and the mini map never appears...

 

Companion App?

There's no companion app in this game which is a shame.

 

This isn't XB/Microsoft. It's EA. What did they suggest in the chats?

I assume you've hit the button in the bottom left of the app to launch the map? And the app is connected to the XBL and the game? Are you using a computer or mobile device? I use the app on my computer and have to restart my laptop sometimes, especially
if I've accidentally left the app running overnight. It sounds like you've been having the issue for awhile so I'm sure you've tried all of this but.. you never know!

I would also try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling.

 

Same problem here. On Windows 8.1 app and IOS companion app.

 

I've been using the Android app and it also has failed to launch the map. It shows what map I'm playing on, and the game mode, but no HUD. Seems like the last update broke something.

 

Also same issue. On PC windows app and android on Samsung S4

ONLY thing I have done is move the game to external drive....... could this be it ......

 

Same here, I have the app on iOS, Win 8.1 laptop and Android, and the mini map doesn't launch on either platform.

I had a two hours chat session with EA last night and they advised:-

Upon checking with our consultation team about your concern for mini app, I was been advise that you may need to contact xbox support about this too. Also I can assure you that this issue will be properly raise to our quality team to make sure that it
will be address properly..

I also advise that you send your feedback about this to our forums too. These threads are being monitored by our quality team from time to time. Our quality team are doing research base on these feedback and of course making sure to work on the resolution
of ingame problems such as this. We always hope too all up coming patches being done will resolve all ingame issues like this.



Clearly this issue should be resolved between EA and Microsoft - Little coincidental that the mini map fails on all of the platforms!

I will be contacting Xbox Support later tonight to see what their take on the matter is.

After a live chat session and a telephone conversation with tech support, its was confirmed that as Respawn Entertainment / EA Games are the developers of the companion app and that it is not isolated to a particular operating system, it is they who need
to resolve this issue and not Microsoft/Xbox Support.

Wow.. thanks for all the updates.. I tried the app again tonight.. no hud map and wouldn't stay connected.. it was so bad my galaxy note 10.1 andriod tablet kept going to sleep.. I have done the back and forth thing between developer EA and Respawn... they
keep saying its the other ones problem.. keep me informer if you make any headway.... thanks for trying.. really miss having the map..
