Compact mode time not syncing with system time

Hi,

There are different solutions that you can perform to help resolve sync issues with the Game DVR in the Xbox app on Windows 10. Refer to the following:

Solution 1: Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps

Refer to this
link and follow the prompts on your screen.

Solution 2: Check for apps and games from Windows Store

page and perform the steps provided.





Solution 3: Restart Game DVR task

1. Close the game and then go to the search box on the Windows taskbar and search for “Task Manager”.
2. In Task Manager, select “More details” and then browse the list of running processes. Select the Broadcast DVR server (bcastdvr.exe) process (if it’s still there) and then select End task.
3. Restart the game and try recording again.

Solution 4: Uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app

1. Type Windows Powershell in the search box.
2. Right click Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.
3. Copy and paste the following command:
   
   get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxApp | remove-appxpackage
4. Press Enter.

Restart your Windows 10 device to refresh and sync all changes made. Then, download and install the Xbox app

You are always going to get updates.That's just the way it is now no matter what platform you are on

There's no harm in leaving your console in "instant on" mode.

It will download any updates as soon as they are available,whether it's for the console or any games or apps you have installed.

I have my console in "instant on" mode & haven't had to actually download an update myself for over 2 years unless it's the first time i've installed a game,it's all done for me.

the kinect is basically one big sensor and you sync the controller with system through the kinect......heres the site

That's just used to sync the controller. Once synced, the controller should, technically, work just fine without the Kinect. So, basically, this doesn't prove that the system will not function without the Kinect.

Once your controllers are synced, I see no reason why the Kinect can't be unplugged.

Did that. Resynced them. All at diff times. Still does it. Swapped even the new controllers when it was just them synced to the system.

I see it fine when I click on your profile. Probably just needs time for the system to catch up. You'll notice that about the website compared to the console. They don't always sync up the same time.
