    Just today I received a message saying I had been temporarily banned from communications on xbox live and I have no clue what for.

    About a month ago I was trolled into swearing at someone via message and was temporarily banned 24 hours for it. I used it as a learning experience and now refrain from using any vulgar language or anything I would think could get me banned again. So I really
    have no clue how I could have broken the rules. I'm always in a party with friends so I know it can't be voice chats and whenever someone messages me I usually just use an emoji to respond.

    I tried to submit a review but for some nonsensical reason you have to complete a questionaire prior and if you get one question wrong you have to start over, get another wrong you have to wait 24 hours, and after what seemed like 15 questions right I got
    one wrong and then another and now I'm stuck waiting 24 hours..

    So now here I am hoping that I can get some type of help with this bogus ban that I have received. As the woman who I spoke with on the 800 number confirmed, I've been a member for well over 10 years and have spent countless dollars and hours on these systems
    and games so I'm really quite frustrated with this whole thing..

    Is one a communications ban and one an account ban? Or are they both communications bans?

    I got a communication ban, while I was already banned from communications.

    I apparently have received a communication ban on my account, while I was currently doing time for another communication ban. How could I have received another communication ban while I was currently communication banned?

    Communications ban

    Hey there oBILLZo,

    The Enforcement teams don't use the forums at all and they only communicate through a

    Case Review    . 24 Hour communications suspensions and Console Suspensions are not reviewable, however you can find more information in these cases through the communication sent by the teams to the email address associated with your Xbox Live Gamertag. Remember
    that all suspensions are only enforced when a breach of the Code of Conduct or Terms of Service has happened.

    One of the common myths is that people who report another user for no reason will see that person suspended. This is not the case and in fact is subject to action as well for false reports which you can find more information about Enforcement Myths HERE.

    In regards to the questionnaire, all of the questions refer to the
    Code of Conduct    , which you should review prior to filing the review.

    Hi

    Suspensions are not issued for no-reason, only if it is shown that the rules have been broken. False reports don't lead to suspensions.

    You will need to visit https://enforcement.xbox.com for more information, they don't use the forums for suspensions.

    I feel like my voice is not even heard by you guys for real!!! Hundreds of dollars and I get spit in the face?? It's a game and there gonna be trash talk your taking the fun out of the game for real and that's why I'll go to Sony!!! i may even get legal

    It's good that you are aware of what you did to deserve the suspension and reflecting on it serves to avoid suspensions in the future, yet there is nothing you can do but go through the suspension and read the Code of conduct.
