    Communications Ban Issue No Party Chat After Suspension is Up


    I have seen other people with the same problem im having. i had recieved a 2 week suspension ban due to complaints filed on my profile and i wasnt able to seen messages or anything until Oct. 4. Here it is Oct. 8th and i was given the ability to send messags
    but not the main thing which is my party chat feature back, which is really messed up. I join a party but my friends cant hear me at all. ive tried deleting my account and re downloading it, clearing my cache and doing a hard system reset and nothing my friends
    still cant hear me. This is really messed up seeing i bought all my games on a account i cant talk to my friends and play my games with.

    8 year old suspension?

    Communication suspensions are imposed due to inappropriate conduct during communication activities on Xbox Live. This suspension blocks an account from accessing any communication features on Xbox Live, including text messages, voice messages, video communications,
    Skype on Xbox One, in-game chat, and party chat.

    There is no way you file a case review for a 24 hrs ban so all you can do is to read the Code of Conduct to avoid future bans.

    Have no clue why I got a communication ban.

    Communications bans are not just from voice communications but any form of communications

    Here is a sample for the enforcement site about comm bans:

    Communications Suspensions
    Communication suspensions are imposed due to inappropriate conduct during communication activities on Xbox Live. This suspension blocks an account from accessing any communication features on Xbox Live, including text messages, voice messages, video communications,
    Skype on Xbox One, in-game chat, and party chat. Communications suspensions are issued for a specified temporary duration, often of 1, 7, or 14 days.

    It looks like there may be a larger issue with the bans releasing. Check out this thread and repost your issue there. If you haven't reached out to XBLPET at enforcement.xbox.com and submitted a claim, I would go ahead and do that too. Hopefully they get
    your sorted quickly.

    Unclear about comm ban length.

    That doesn't really help lol Ya I read that before but mine has been going on for not 1, not 7, not 14 days. It has been a month and I was told it was lifted on the 24th of last month like I said. I also just had a COMMUNICATION ban, not an account suspension.

    When you have an account suspension you can't even sign into Xbox Live. I was never unable to sign into Xbox Live and I was able to play any game off and online. Like I said before, for that week I had all communication taken away but then after that week
    I got everything back except party and in-game chat. Is it some kind of half communication ban? lol Or is this a glitch? or is this a permanent party chat/in-game chat ban?

    Very sorry to hear about the party chat issues after coming off a communications suspension. Going forward, please refer to

    this thread. The proper teams are definitely aware of the issue, but at this time there is no ETA for a fix.
