    Communications Ban Appeal


    Dear Microsft,

    My Xbox live account has undergone a communications ban due to an argument with a friend (who i am still friends with and on good terms) which resulted in him reporting me.

    I am here basically to ask for an official or enforcer to take a further inspection as to why this ban has been enforced and if said ban could be lifted.

    Communication Ban Appeal

    I was recently banned from communications about a day ago and know it's bc I sent a message saying "1v1 me pussayy" to another user playing For Honor. He replied "bring it ****" and must have reported me. I understand that I was wrong and won't do it again.
    All I ask is that this isn't a permanent ban bc I've been a loyal gamer since day 1 of xbox 360 days. I consider this a lesson and will not continue in my shananigans. Im not sure how long my suspension is but please HELP!? I can't even communicate with friends
    and this is my 1st offense. My brother owned the account for like 3 years before me and may have been in similar situations I do not know.

    Only an actual person from the Xbox Live Enforcement Team can impose or remove a suspension or ban on the account. - "Despite what some may claim, Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team will never ever ban anyone “for no reason”. Suspensions always occur as

    Code of conduct violations encompass a number of situations, including, but not limited to:

    • Engaging in communications that claim or imply that you are Xbox staff
    • Having a Gamertag or profile content that contains hate speech or profanity
    • Using in game exploits to gain an unfair advantage over other players
    • Hacking, Modding or Cheating

    You need to go to https://enforcement.xbox.com and sign in with your suspended account. Then click on the yellow tile with the hammer icon, and check your Enforcement history.

    Your only recourse is via
    https://enforcement.xbox.com     and if eligible file a case review.

    One point, it does not matter who is playing on your account, you are responsible for any actions that they carry out.

    It also does not matter who started what, if a violation of the code of conduct happens and it gets reported, you get suspended. Retaliation is not an excuse and is not condoned.

    I understand your frustration with another Xbox user. Unfortunately you violated the Terms and Service of Xbox Live. You must understand that saying harsh words is not helping your issue with them.

    My best advice in the future is to block and report the user and move on.
