Communication suspension, but can't play online?

So I was just communication suspended for sending 2 texts and whatever I fought it and they didn't care that is was self defence. My main issue is it's a COMMUNICATION SUSPENSION and I cannot play Soul Calibur 6 online AT ALL. I can't connect to casual
matches with my friends. I've had gold for 10 years and this is the most ridiculous thing that's happened to me. Xbox enforcement didn't even seem to care that I'm literally denied of the service I pay money for and cannot play a game I paid money for. Who
do I even go to now? How do I get it fixed so I can PLAY this game ONLINE? I understand that I can't text or talk to others; but I want to PLAY this game online with my friends.

This has happened to me as well as soon as my suspension for the same thing had finished I was all excited to play online again to come online and find it says I can't use communication features on my xbox. I then checked if I was given a communication suspension
but it said I have no active suspensions.

 

Infractions. Communications(Aware of). Profile(Since when???)

Wouldn't let me edit it.

EDIT:Below are the things this "Communications" ban prevents me from doing. Why can't I play with my friends? I can understand being muted but why can't I play with themThis account engaged in inappropriate communications.

This activity may include harassment, abusive language, hate speech, profanity, disruptive or offensive language, spamming, or other inappropriate uses of Xbox Live communications features.

Temporary suspension impact: For the duration of the suspension this account cannot use Xbox Live communication features, including in-game and party chat, messaging, video communications, gameplay broadcasting, sharing content, and Skype on Xbox One.

Sorry to hear about the issue with the communication suspension. Some games will not be able to be played due to a communication suspension if they rely on chat. For more information about the ban and to see if eligible for a case review( ban longer than
1 day), you would need to go to
Enforcement site. This is the only way to contact the enforcement team.

The problem is that it doesnt matter how a situation starts. If you respond with something that violates the code of conduct you can be suspended. The "i was just defending myself" excuse wont fly.

If you responded with something that also broke the code of conduct then the enforcement team can see that and see that you both broke the rules which is why you are now suspended.

In the future, If someone is harrasing you dont respond. Just report them and block them. If you did that then the enforcement team would see that the other player was the only one breaking the rules and only they would have gotten suspended and not you.

If your case review was upheld then there is nothing else you can do but wait out the suspension

 

I've already sent a case review and it was upheld. It's insanely ironic that this game that just came out is the game I'm unable to play due to this enforcement action against me from defending myself. Nice to see Xbox has the peoples' backs who are targeted
by trolls and DDoS'ers! Thanks for the reply though.

 

Defending myself is an excuse because I was sent messages from multiple accounts and they wouldn't stop even when I blocked the account. So either they had some way of cheating Xbox or Xbox was glitching out. So I told them "g t f o my dms", even if you
assume it's the swear words, you can't say it is when it could be "frick" and it isn't even actually swearing. Maybe I shouldn't have even sent it, but when you're being harassed by someone trying to hit you offline it becomes quite annoying after 30 minutes.
And a 14 day suspension for just that 4 letter abbreviation alone? Kind of ridiculous when I've had Xbox 10 years and I've been suspended twice due to elementary words.

If the case review was upheld then they found reason enough that you violated the Code of conduct and kept suspension in place. As mentioned before with that type of suspension some multiplayer games are not playable. I totally understand you wanting to
defend yourself. AS the others said in future be best to just ignore someone report and block them.

All I can suggest is not responding with negative messages to anyone, even it is defending yourself. Just report, block and move on in the future if you can.
