Communication Suspension broke my Xbox Live chat!

On the 2st of November I received a communications suspension which has since expired. While I am now allowed to message other people my voice communication no longer works! My mic 'lights up' in-game and in Xbox Live party chat proving the mic is picking
up on me talking but nobody can hear me!

Help?

During a communications suspension the account may continue to access the Xbox Live service, including online multiplayer. At the conclusion of the suspension all communication functionality will be automatically restored.

This is a known issue and it is being addressed. Here is the last update that I have seen on the issue.

Been like this for 2 days now, pretty upsetting especially considering the fact i got suspended for petty comments such as"You suck", "you're bad", "get a life", and "*** you". Especially considering the fact Xbox doesn't know where those comments derive
from. Trolling in-game is much worse of a problem to XBL than trash talking is.

Unfortunately, there is nothing anyone on the forums can help with. The correct people are aware and are working on the problem. As the link above indicates they are working on a permanent solution and they will post updates in that thread as they become
available.

 

Kind of sounds like the rest of the XBL community is better off with this "bug" in place. Take your time programmers.

 

Hey,

People have been stuck like this for a bit now, and the support team are hard at work trying to fix it. In the mean time, there is nothing that can be done until it is fixed. So just keep an eye on that thread, which will be updated when its been sorted.
