    Temporary Communication Ban

    My account was recently temporarily suspended due to offensive communication over Xbox live. I only speak to my friends in party chat or Skype so I have no idea what this is about. I've been a user since 2010 and have had a good reputation until this happened. I
    have followed the instructions to file a case review, but there isn't an option to do so. I am really confused as to why this has happened and really want this to be resolved.

    Hello Xbox Team,

    Today I was playing gta 5 and me and my friends were playing a game of rockets vs insurgents 5v5. A random joined and after various attempts of asking him to leave nicely, we kicked him. After that i got angry and sent him an inappropriate message. This
    is my first and only offense after several years of being on xbox live. Me and my friends had something special planned for tomorrow and because of the ban, it will make it hard to happen. I am very sorry and I promise it will never happen again. If you could
    please remove the one day ban, it would be gratefully appreciated.

    This is a temporary console ban and it will affect all your accounts. Some Code of Conduct violations that don’t rise to the level of a device ban can instead result in the temporary loss of specific Xbox One or Xbox on Windows device privileges. When this
    occurs, the device can still connect to Xbox Live, but certain functionality (such as communications or online multiplayer) will be restricted for a particular duration.

    The enforcement team does not use the forums. It is not possible to submit a case review for a 24 hour ban. All you can do is wait out the suspension.

    Just don't retaliate...that is down to yourself, not Microsoft's policies. Just report the person and then block them. Whilst Enforcement may be something that needs some work as it doesn't always work properly, removing yourself from the possibility of getting enforced is the best solution
