Communication bans are helping sell PS4s

I've personally been an Xbox loyalist since the very beginning. I've never even considered a PlayStation console as an option. That is until recently. I've been banned for such indiscretions as typing the word "****" or for replying to a horribly misspelled
angry message with"I beg your pardon?". I'm not going to feign innocence of ever having a potty mouth or dirty mind, I'm not such. I'm an adult with disposable income that will never purchase a Scorpio if I can't USE IT!

Is one a communications ban and one an account ban? Or are they both communications bans?

Read the psn terms of use it is the exact same

You do realize that being rated e for everyone is a cross most servers right it's not rocket science

Use common sense live life and play fair your wallet will thank you for it

 

You have zero facts to back up your statement that communication bans are selling PS4s.

How hard is it to not act out online and behave like an adult? Incredibly difficult for some it seems.

 

Okay check any Chat ban forum. They all say the same. That's not the point though. I've behaved the same on Xbox Live for like 8 years without incident. Actually being a preferred and highly rated player. Just this year I received my first ban. Then 2 then
this out of no where 3rd. It's a new policy that goes beyond ovwrkill. It's making customers unhappy. Unhappy customers go to the competition.

 

There is no "new " policy.

The rules have been like this for years.

Keep breaking the rules & eventually you will get caught.

This customer is happy that the enforcement team are doing their job.

 

1 If the policy isn't new then the methods by which it is determined what kind and how much punishment is necessary. A two week ban for telling a guy you don't appreciate their v*gina on your face? TWO WEEKS?! While I've reported downright cheaters and
intentional teamkillers. My entire team has reported them, yet they face absolutely no consequences.

 

How about I give my money to those who allow me to use what I pay for?

 

How do you know they aren't punished?

Very rarely you may get a thank you message from the enforcement team if someone is suspended due to a report you filed but it doesn't happen often.Other thatn that you will not be told the result of any report you filed.

Just because you pay for a service does not make you exempt from the rules that you agreed to follow when starting your account.

The only person stopping you from using what you paid for is you.

It's exactly the same on PSN although you do seem to get more second chances on xbox live.

It's not difficult to follow the ToU/CoC,i've been on xbox live since it started & never had any type of enforcement action on either of my accounts.

 

I had zero actions for over TEN YEARS MAN! Now I've suddenly accrued 3 IN 6 MONTHS! My best guess is that if policy and methodology are the same then I have absolutely angered the WRONG PERSON!

To answer your first question I know because I see them in games. Or they continue to send me angry messages. (I didn't immediately block them to see if my complaints were heard or acted upon.

 

So you keep tabs on these people 24 hours a day 7 days a week do you?
