Communication banned

I recently got a communication banned on nov 24, and i have talked to a lady at microsoft xbox and she brought me to this page, i was just looking into this because i was not on xbox at this time. I was just wondering how it was possible to get a 7 day
ban when i was not even playing? I also have been to the enforcment page but the microsoft lady and i went through the questions and failed, so it will not let me apply a case review, i was just wondering if you could look into me getting banned because i
did nothing.

XBox Live Suspension

Seems to me that the best way to ban someone is simply take away their ability to communicate. No chat. No messages. No nothing. Should still be able to play online if you are paying for the service though. Now if they are cheating then, yeah. Ban them from the service completely.

I try to goat them into sending a nasty message so I can get them communication banned .

You probably got communication banned from a message you sent a few days before

 

I have already done this but failed the 2nd part of the questions so it will not let me submit a case review?

 

The day you were suspended is not necessarily the day that the code of conduct infraction happened.

This is an example of how it works.

1. A message is sent to another player that has a violation of the code of conduct.

2. That player reports the message to the enforcement team.

3. The enforcement team receives 1000s of reports a day and investigates EVERY one of them so it can take time for them to get to the report of your message. So it could be a couple of days even longer before they get to it.

4. Once they investigate and determine that there was a violation of the code of conduct that is when they will put the suspension on the account.

So just because you were suspended on the 24th does not mean that is when the violation happened thats just when the enforcement team finished their investigation.

With that being said the case review process is the only way to contact the enforcement team and they are the only people that would be able to reinvestigate your suspension and determine if they can lift it sooner.

If you fail the questionnaire a certain amount of times it will prevent you from trying again for only 24 hours after that you should be able to try the questionnaire again.

The answers to the questionnaire are on the enforcement teams website and in the code of conduct.

 

I already got a 2 day ban for that message and then i got this one for no reason?

 

I just got banned on the 20th for sending a messages to one of my buddy’s as a joke and he knew i would get banned so he reported me, it was in a group chat, and after that i have not sent any messages, and nobody has reported me?

 

There is no statute of limitations on a message sent it could have been a message you sent years ago that someone decided to report.

At this point there is no one here in the forums that can help you with an enforcement action that can ONLY be done through the case review process on the enforcement teams website.

Would it notify me if they reported me? Because i have only been reported once and i got a 2 day ban for it, but it does not say that i have been reported again?

 

No, you don't get notified if you've been reported.

 

Can u check and see when i was reported?

Regrettably, In Enforcement situations, there is nothing we can do here in the forums, in regards to actions taken by the Enforcement team - we can only advise.

If your are unable to appeal, my best advice would be to update the security info on your account and to ride out your suspension time.
