If you feel that the suspension is not warranted then you can file for a case review at their website and they will investigate the report again and determine if they can lift the suspension sooner.

I understand, however reports cant be actioned upon immediately and the effect of a ban or suspension could take a week or more for one person and be immediate for another.

Your report will be investigated, however it requires evidence and time to be actioned.

where as communications can be reviewed much quicker and this is why communication bans are handled in a shorter amount of time.

The best cause of action is to set your messages to friends only, and communicate with others on the service in an appropriate manner.

For information about your ban and to see about submitting a case review, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com. Investigations take time, so enforcement actions are not instant and would not be enforced on the same day the action took place.

You should go to the enforcement team's website for information where you can also submit a case review if suspension is eligible. If you really are sure the ban was unfair. http://enforcement.xbox.com/home
