Communication ban with 1 month away from deployment overseas

Right off the bat, I want to say I'm not homophobic, nor do I support behavior that tries to degrade the experiences that homosexuals have on XBL. The reason I have to point that out is because of my little brother, from what I have to guess is he sent a
message to someone say some nasty derogatory statements about them being gay. which I can't see because I'm assuming he deleted them before I got back on. I've tried to explain to the enforcement team that I had nothing to do with whatever he did, I don't
normally let him play on my Xbox, but he asked to play the new COD WW2 that just came out. Since I was gone all day I thought It wouldn't hurt, so I gave him my password to play. That was my mistake, I'll take the blame for his actions on XBL it was my account
after all, however, I don't even know what he did, nobody has shown me the message he "sent" including the enforcement team. Before you say anything I've already applied for a case review and that's the only reason I know he sent a homophobic message since
that's what they said, "This account received a suspension for its use of egregious homophobic and sexually degrading language directed towards other players" -XBLPET Agent. They upheld their decision to ban me until the 18th. Now two weeks isn't the end of
the world but what they don't know is, I ship of the 13th of December and come to find out the sole reason I bought COD WW2 was for the MLG Battle mode which I found out I'm banned from as well until the 18th. I found that out after trying to join a scheduled
match, resulting in me and my friends having to forfeit to start off with a good 0-1 record :'(. I've never had any offenses prior to this incident but I'm still banned for two weeks??? I talk to my friends about it and one of them share with me that he called
a person on XBL a "retard" and only got 2 days suspension. So, what's with this two weeks? I can't even play the game I bought because of my brother and his dumb self, I've already changed my passcode and banned him from ever touching my controller again.
I really don't think I deserve being banned for two weeks so close to when I won't be able to play at all for a couple of months. Currently, I'm frustrated with XBL, my brother, and the enforcement team, but mainly my brother. Just let me be able to enjoy
the game I bought and XBL I paid for. This honestly gives me regrets from the switch to Xbox from PlayStation, I never had any incidences like this out of my 6 years of playing on PSN. I'm wanting to give Xbox the chance remind me why I switched in the first
place. Honestly thou I've been looking at PC Builds, I might just sell my Xbox to help pay for it when I get back.

The enforcement team do not use the forums.

You are responsible for your account & everything that happens on it.

If you have filed for a case & the decision was upheld then there is nothing else you can do.

There are various factors taken into consideration when deciding the length of a suspension.

The rules are similar on PSN.

 

That's just sad, I would have thought MS had a little heart for my situation. Considering this is my account's first time with any issues and the fact I've already enacted a fix (banning my brother from using my Xbox) so this won't ever happens EVER again.
It's the fact that I can't play the game I intended to play for the following weeks before I deploy that makes me irritated. I think that the one who has the degraded experience for XBL is by far, me. The likelihood of this happening again is not existent,
yet I still will only be able to enjoy a week of COD WW2 until my departure, when I get back the new COD will be right around the corner. I'm getting sick of this, the reason why the enforcement team only gives 500 characters to comment on a case review and
the reason why they don't read the forums most likely has to do with not wanting to engage with the consumers they really don't care about the overall consumer's experience, getting banned from a service that cost $60 not including the services tied into it
should be carefully evaluated and offer some engagement with the one committing the offense.

 

Oh and another thing the range of a 2 day - 2 week ban is outrageous. I don't understand how can 1st-time offenses of verbal abuse have a range like that? How do they judge how long one should get banned for? I really don't understand do they count the number
of curse words or what? Verbal abuse is verbal abuse plain and simple, calling someone a "retard" should have the same amount of time issued to the ban as calling someone "gay", I understand the need for longer bans, but they need to go off of offenses rather
than the amount of curse or offensive language used. I haven't done anything before and I'm getting a two-week ban that's just simply outrageous.

 

I'm not saying the rules aren't similar to PSN, but they solely deal with the online experience for players compared to Microsoft who is putting its resources elsewhere. The times I've had talked to PSN for account issues they would always hear me out and
actually have the tools necessary to help my situation. None of this only the enforcement team can help, I've talked to two virtual agents and they can't do anything besides asked if I have sent in a case review and refer me to this page, like it's going to
help, all the while saying I'm sure we'll be able to fix this. So I'm guessing they have less knowledge about the enforcement system then they let on.

 

They used to use the forums but stopped a couple of years ago as everything was public & they prefer to address each case privately & on a one to one basis.
