Communication ban but wasnt using account?

Hi I was wondering how i got a communication ban when i know i didn't do anything.

My friend has had a communication ban for no reason

My friend has ad a communication ban on his account and the time of the ban he wasnt near his xbox what can been done to to the communication ban off

I just goy my third communication ban yesterday but today i wasnt able to play online because of an account ban wanted to know if either of these were permanent?

I did but my case was upheld and i then got in contact with support and they said that i can get in direct contact with the enforcement team on the forums. p.s sorry if i accidentally over messaged you i didn't understand how the forums work.

 

Sorry, but support is incorrect. The enforcement team no longer uses the forums. Submitting a case review is the only way to contact the enforcement team. If they upheld their decision,there is nothing else you can do.

 

so even if i did nothing wrong im going to have to wait out the ban?

 

You will have to wait it out. If they issued a suspension and then upheld their decision, then they did determine you did something to violate the code of conduct.

 

umm okay i guess that not being on my xbox in 2-4 weeks and getting a ban is upheld

 

Suspensions are not always issued the same day the action took place. Investigations do take time so it could be for something that happened weeks or months ago.

 

So is the max time a report can be looked at 1 month? And will i have to use a smurf account to talk to friends? Also why cant i upload youtube videos from the xbox or access any social media if xbox doesn't own youtube shouldnt it mean they can't restrict
uploads to youtube?

 

No, there is no set time limit for an investigation into a violation of the Code of Conduct.

Using an alternate account to bypass an enforcement action is a violation of the Code of Conduct. This may well end up with a console privilege suspension.
