Communication ban also bans CoD: BO4 emblems?

So i just got an arguably unfair communication ban which I’m fairly used to, despite RARELY if ever speaking in game or sending messages to randoms, and i noticed when starting Black Ops 4 that my emblem editor and Paintshop gun camo i had spent hours
of effort in were also banned. Is that something you guys do? That’s absolutely ridiculous and unfair. Also, my only two communications with the general player base were one player in game yelling at me for saying I was better than him, and another person
asking ME why my TEAMMATE team killed him in Blackout instead of asking my teammate himself, so my response was “[Mod Removed – Profanity]”. As far as I’m aware, while on the negative side of things, my interactions were not offensive
to any degree reasonable for a week long ban. A single acronym that is WIDELY used throughout gaming platforms and gaming culture, and harmless in game banter doing nothing more than calmly pointing out the fact i was carrying my team. If mild and standard
interactions like this are bannable then the enforcement team is out of touch with the community they are enforcing over and I’m sick of them.

Being banned twice

Is one a communications ban and one an account ban? Or are they both communications bans?

 

I got a communication ban, while I was already banned from communications.

I apparently have received a communication ban on my account, while I was currently doing time for another communication ban. How could I have received another communication ban while I was currently communication banned?

 

That would be something you would have to contact Activision about. Microsoft does not handle in-game suspension/bans.

As far as communication suspension through Live, you can try submitting a case review at http://enforcement.xbox.com but profanity is a violation of the code of conduct. The action doesn't have to be offensive to warrant a suspension. It just has to violate
the code of conduct.

Suspension length varies based on the severity of the situation as well as previous enforcement actions. So while the suspension may be for something less severe, the length can still be lengthened due to previous suspension.

 

Oh my god, you [Mod Removed – Profanity]. actually censor an acronym, that is pathetic. What a bunch of pc fools, don’t even know your actual community, only the vocal minority complaining about “harassment” when the vast
majority just can’t be [Mod Removed – Profanity] to stand up to unfair bans because they know you won’t do
[Mod Removed – Profanity] to change the way you treat us. Besides that, why not make the bans for game chat and messaging only, party chat being blocked is ridiculous, some of us come home for jobs we hate to play some games with
friends, just to see that the one kid in game chat who couldn’t handle mild MW2 era banter got you banned for a week, and now you cant talk to friends without an alternate account you don’t want to waste time on.

 

Profanity is against code of conduct? Let me know when an ACRONYM is considered profanity.[Mod Removed – Profanity].. Yes one letter is the
[Mod Removed – Profanity]. word, but it is widely used over “shut up” because it is faster to type. The moment a sting of letters that do not form a word is bannable is the moment you become a tool of censorship.

Content that could harm or harass a person, including yourself, or an animal. For

• Profane words or phrases
• Suicide-related content
• Negative speech (including hate speech or threats of harm) directed at people who belong to a group, including groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, language, gender, age, disability, veteran status, religion, or sexual orientation/expression
• "Noise", which is excessive speech intended to interfere with or disrupt another person's or group's ability to enjoy a game or app on Xbox Live

So that would include acronyms.

 

So if I’m talking to someone about Eminem’s song “[Mod Removed – Profanity].” and they report me i gues that means im
[Mod Removed – Profanity]. banned right? Because I’m talking about a musical piece by an critically acclaimed (most would say the best in history) rap artist, i could get
[Mod Removed – Profanity]. banned because it promotes, looks, and sounds like
[Mod Removed – Profanity]. profanity despite being literal music? This is
[Mod Removed – Profanity]. and your code of conduct which has certainly been shifted a huge amount since earlier call of duty titles is
[Mod Removed – Profanity]. In fact, [Mod Removed – Profanity].you. Censor this you
[Mod Removed – Profanity].. Do it.
