Communication and notifications not functioning (xbox one)

Today is 18 March 2015, I was playing this morning with no issues. However, about an hour ago now, mid session during a game of destiny I was removed from the multiplayer session. After this I ceased to receive party chat invites, game invites, or simple
text messages and all ones that I send out are not received or viewable by others. Additionally, even after joining someones game or party I can not hear anyone (even with mic removed and sound set to speakers instead) and no one can hear me. I have hard reset
both my xbox and my modem multiple times with no results. Is there and solutions to this issue that I can try, or is this simply an issue that is being worked on and I will have to wait for a fix?

What are your favorite new things the X1 can do now after all dem epic updates?

Probably the improved party functionality (it was pretty bad until then) if that counts

If it doesn't, then it's a tie between Battery notification, system storage managing, friend notifications, and ability to use external harddrives

Xbox one not functioning correctly

try what the answer above has said also this could be due to not being paired correctley to your xbox they repair controller to xbox, also make sure you are using decent batreys in your controller as this can be a issue as well, as with the connection this
could also be fixed by power cycling the xbox also at the same time reseting your router

I'm having the same issues. My roommate can get my text messages, but no notifications pop up. I can't receive any. Invites are the same.

1. Phone is on ring and vibrate (it's always been my preferred settings - so nothing changed)

2. When functioning correctly, it is a sound and badge (favourite friend, achievements, messages, captures and party/game invites), but at the moment I am not getting any notifications in any format for friends (after the app update yesterday, I don't get friend ones on my xbox either)

4. I haven't used the beta app.

Problems started with the previous xbox update - issues were no app notifications at all. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and then party invite notifications were functioning. As friend notifications did not resolve even after an extended amount of time, I did my first post.

Yesterday after new update (and actions followed as post above) I still don't get app friend notifications and now it's the same issue for my xbox.

Prior to the previous update and yesterday's update, everything was functioning perfectly.

There's an option on Windows 10 to block notifications so perhaps could be that, acts similar to Android's "muted" function. Tell him to check the Notifications button on the bottom right of the screen on the task bar.

If you use your Dish Hopper through the Xbox One, then the Xbox One would need to be one whenever you watch TV or DVR. If you want to use your DVR functionality, for now, you still would use your DVR remote to control this feature. The nice thing is you
could get notifications while watching your TV or DVR.
