Communication abuse

I have been falsely reported in the past and received a communication ban for 24 hrs and there was nothing i could do about it. no proof could be provided and i would never swear or say bad enough words to ever deserve a 24 hour communication ban, but
last night some kid tells me to "kill yourself" and calls me a "pedophile" and nothing is being done about it. i have the proof in writing because he actually typed this stuff. i have reported him 1000 times and nothing is being done about it. the way these
problems are being addressed by xbox is absurd. i get a communication bad for not giving some kids free items in fortnite save the world so they spam report me and i actually get banned the next day. but when something real happens i get nothing.

Use the tools on your console to report someone if they are sending you harassing messages.It is the only way to report someone.

Block communications with then or set comms to freinds only & you shouldn't get any more messages from them.

Sorry for the issue you are having with others online. Have you reported the message directly that was sent to you? As others stated this is for enforcement and it does take time for them to look at reports. The best thing to do in situations like this is
report, block and ignore them. Enforcement does not monitor the forums at all. I will go ahead and lock this thread as it has been answered you would need to report the messages and enforcement will go from there.

i know you are probably thinking that reports are investigated and are 100% accurate but there are proven videos and strategies ppl have to get people communication banned. they are all over youtube. i never use foul language ever and am generally as polite
as i can be. i do not have many friends on xbox and do not use the chat function. if you understand the game i am suggesting was the issue. there a kids that prevent people from completing objectives unless they get free stuff and epic games does nothing to
enforce reporting. it is very common. they even stated what they were going to do and i received a 24 hr communication ban 30 min later and i contacted microsoft and the ban was lifted due to an "error"is what i was told. I am an adult who enjoys a few video
games and when a kid tells me to just [Mod removed-inappropriate] and that i am a pedophile it really bothers me because i try to mind my own buisiness and keep to myself. i grinded for all of my in game materials and guns and i am not going to be held hostage
for them bc some kid just wants them and is threatening getting me banned with his 16 friends in one chat party. when you have a high ammount of multiple different people reporting someone it gets priority and xbox tends to beleive the people reporting even
without proof (if claimed to verbally violate TOS where therres no written proof). i in fact have written proof and can probably bet nothing will happen. you are blind to how the system works

You're never going to see the response of what happens when you Mute, Block and Report others. The actions will be taken. For you, nobody is going to banned for not giving kids free items. They can spam report all they want but if you actually did nothing
wrong, no action will be taken. All reports are manually reviewed. Nobody has ever been banned for doing nothing wrong.
